Refrigerants

Efficient refrigerants for optimal freeze drying

Our laboratory units are equipped with natural, flammable refrigerants as standard, while our pilot and production systems can be flexibly configured with a variety of refrigerant systems.

We always use the latest refrigeration technologies to ensure that our systems are always state of the art.

Choosing the right refrigerant depends on a variety of factors, such as application scenarios, environmental requirements and technical specifications. We support you in finding the best solution for your requirements.

Our refrigerant solutions

We use both conventional and natural refrigerants in our systems.

We use both conventional and natural refrigerants in our systems.

R410A is one of the most widely used refrigerants in modern compression refrigeration systems. It is characterized by its high energy efficiency and non-flammability (class A1). Its use in freeze-drying systems will remain permitted in the European Union until 2030. Maintenance and repairs will also be possible without restriction in the future.

As a leading manufacturer of freeze-drying systems, we rely on natural refrigerants to offer sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions in the freeze-drying sector. Our innovations help to reduce environmental impact and shape a greener future. We have been pioneers since 2009 and were one of the first manufacturers to switch our laboratory and pilot freeze dryers to flammable refrigerants.
