Disposal of laboratory and pilot systems
Free disposal from the manufacturer
We at Martin Christ attach great importance to the environmentally friendly disposal of our laboratory and pilot freeze dryers as well as our RVCs.
This is based on the EU Directive 2012/19/EU, which is implemented in Germany by the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG). This directive obliges manufacturers to take responsibility for the disposal of their products throughout their life cycle.
In accordance with the EU Directive 2012/19/EU, our equipment is marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. This indicates that these products must not be disposed of with household waste.
In case of disposal, Martin Christ Gefriertrocknungsanlagen GmbH will take back the freeze drying systems and vacuum concentrators free of charge.
The user must ensure that the equipment is decontaminated. A declaration of decontamination must be completed and enclosed (see below in the download area).
