Product description
Our LyoShuttle Trays have been specially designed for loading and unloading trays and are available as fully automatic or semi-automatic versions.
The loading and unloading system uses state-of-the-art technology and impresses with its reliable components:
- Battery-powered, wireless robot: the robot moves horizontally along a series of rails positioned on a uniform loading level.
- Toothed belt drive: The drive enables precise and smooth movement of the robot along the rails.
- Wireless communication: Secure wireless communication between the robot and the controller ensures that there are no moving components inside the freeze dryer.
Functionality
- Loading: The robot pushes the trays into the freeze dryer row by row. The rows of trays are linked directly by hooks, which is essential for the unloading process.
- Unloading: After the freeze drying cycle, the trays are pulled out again by the robot. The rows are pulled out by the hooks and can be separated again. This makes it easy to transport the trays onwards, for example via a conveyor belt, to the next production step.
Seamless integration and flexibility
Together with our subsidiary Motus, we have designed and implemented a filling system. From filling through the freeze drying process all the way to emptying the trays, the entire process comes from our group of companies.
In the semi-automatic version of the LyoShuttle Tray, the trays are positioned manually and then automatically conveyed into the freeze dryer. The freeze-dried tray rows can be easily integrated into the next production phase via a transport system.
